I have downloaded and have been playing around with the new Google Desktop at: http://desktop.google.com/en/GB/

I must say that I am quite impressed (before you ask, no I don't have shares).

You can add all kinds of gadgets to the side bar and I have found one called AnyCam. I have entered in the address of our webcam at http://www.southendrspb.co.uk/serspbcam/camer0.jpg and now if I fancy a quick look at our webcam I don't have to open a browser or go on the internet, I can just slide out the latest photo.

The PC search functions are pretty good as well.
